There are two ways that users are identified between Campaign and AAM
Please choose any one of the below AAM setup as per your requirement and share the Data source ID generated with support to create a FTP request in-order to integrate Campaign with AAM
To Setup AAM using MCID as the UserIdentifier please follow the below steps:
Create a Data Source for Adobe Campaign that utilized the MCID as the cross-solution identifier. This Data Source must follow these guidelines
Name: Adobe Campaign
Description: Campaign and Audience Library Integration based Marketing Cloud ID Service
Integration Code: {"source":"Campaign"}
ID Type: Cookie
Data Export Controls: Check No restriction
Data Source Settings: Check Inbound -> Marketing Cloud ID and Check Outbound
Save (note the data source ID)
To Setup AAM using Declared ID as the User Identifier please follow the below steps:
Create a Data Source for Adobe Campaign that utilized the Declared ID as the cross-solution identifier. This Data Source must follow these guidelines
Name: Adobe Campaign - Declared ID
Description: Campaign and Audience Library Integration based Declared ID
Integration Code: "AdobeCampaignID"
ID Type: Cross Device data source
Data Export Controls: Check No restriction
Data Source Settings: Check Inbound -> Marketing Cloud ID and Check Outbound
Save (note the data source ID)
