In Marketing Cloud, the Social is showing enabled status but actually not

Question: In Marketing Cloud environment, Social is showing provisioned status (the Social icon is highlighted), when clicking the social icon, it pops up a dialog asking for linking account.

Answer: Adobe Social is not part of Adobe Partner Sandbox Program offering, please ignore the issue about Social. Social (legacy) does not have its own product context (PC) and has always been tied to Analytics PC which is why it shows up as enabled. Not saying this is the right behavior, but that’s how it has always been. Social Phoenix (new avatar of Social) has it’s own PC and will not have this coupling.
